With Easter landing on the tax year’s tail end, timing might stir up a little potpourri for you.
If your tax agent has some nifty time extension tricks up their sleeve for 2023 tax returns, note that submissions between March 29 and April 2, 2024, will score a punctual stamp. For 2023 returns, Inland Revenue can play the reassessment card until March 31, 2028, for those filed before March 31. And for the latecomers filing post-March 31, 2024, the taxman’s game stretches out to March 31, 2029.
